Sensor group score for Asset Risk Predictor
Before you begin
This feature is currently in beta.
To use this feature, a sensor named "Sensor group score" must be added to the assets you want to view the group score for. See Overview: ARP setup to learn more.
While onboarding to Asset Risk Predictor, you might see more false positives than expected if you have frequent operational changes. To help you better identify actual risks during this period, we've added a new sensor value to each asset's dashboard.
The new Sensor group score (Beta) row displays an overall risk score for all of that asset's sensors. It's displayed at the top of the sensor list in the Asset Risk Predictor dashboard:
Note
Once the "sensor group score" sensor is added to an asset, the value will begin displaying upon the next scheduled prediction.
This score considers the context of the risks identified for other sensors to help you assess whether there's an issue that needs to be addressed.
For example, temperature and speed rising at the same time is expected, so the sensor group score would be lower than the risk level for those individual sensors. However, temperature going up as speed goes down is unexpected and could be cause for concern. In that case, the sensor group score would be higher.
The sensor group score can also appear in the other charts in the Asset Risk Predictor dashboard. For example, if the sensor group score had the highest risk at that point in time, it would be the sensor name displayed when you hovered over a data point in the hourly or daily chart:
