This release includes the following changes:
Maximum quantity added to parts
We’ve added maximum stock quantity (max qty) field for parts in v5. Users can now set, see, and report on the max quantity of parts from reports or Analytics.
Maximum quantity (max qty) records an upper stock limit so that users who do purchasing can consistently order the desired stock quantity. If there is no max quantity set, the default value will remain blank.
Max quantity has been added to the Stock, Work Order, and Work Order Log explores in Analytics. It's also viewable in reports and can be updated via the API. As a column header it can be found on the Current Stock page (Supplies > Current Stock) and the Parts and Supplies (Supplies > Parts and Supplies) page. The Inventory Depletion notification template can include max quantity as an available field if needed as well. Max quantity is not available on mobile. Requires Admins or users to have the “Has ‘Save’ button on the stock page” permission and the “Can access the ‘Stock’ page” permission.
To add a maximum quantity value to a part:
- Navigate to Supplies > Parts and Supplies.
- Choose the part to change.
- Under the Stock tab, in the Stock Levels Per Location section, click the Add New symbol:
