How do I limit access in the CMMS?

Q.  How can I set it up so that my Manager group can only see their work orders and submit a request?


A: To do this, you need to remove the work order menu from the Manager group. This procedure outlines how to change permissions. In the manager user group, click menu permissions and uncheck the work order menu item under maintenance.

That way, the managers will still see their assigned work orders under the dashboard tab.


A. Another way would be to install multisite in your CMMS. This would not limit access to functionality in the app, but rather just show the managers the data they need to see. Have a look at this blog and associated video at the bottom of it. It may be an option -
