Menu and Page Permissions? What's the Difference?

Overview

Menu and page permissions work together to place restrictions on the information that can be accessed by users of a user group. A user groups level of permission can be broken down into two groups, menu permissions, and page permissions.

Menu Permissions:

Menu permissions refer to the modules that can be accessed in the left menu:

 

Page Permissions:

Page permissions refer to the information that can be accessed within each module:  

 

 

Access User Group Permission Settings:

To access the user group permission settings, select Settings, User Groups and the user group

 

Menu Permissions:

To edit menu permissions, select Menu Permissions, and enable or disable permissions from the list

 

Page Permissions:

To edit page permissions, select Page Permissions, select a Page from the dropdown menu, and enable or disable permissions from the list.
