Before you begin
Asset Risk Predictor must be purchased separately from a Fiix representative. To learn more, see Asset Risk Predictor FAQ.
Note: Risk-based scheduled maintenance is currently in beta.
You can configure the CMMS to automatically generate a work order any time the Asset Risk Predictor identifies a high-risk event. Once the work order is generated, the assigned technician can validate whether the issue is actually high risk, and then either close the work order (if it’s not high risk) or complete the necessary maintenance (if it is high risk). Setting up this feature requires 4 steps:
- Create a new work order status that technicians can apply to close the work order if they determine that there isn’t a high risk for this asset.
- Create a new maintenance type that will be assigned to all work orders generated through this process.
- Create a new asset event type that will be triggered each time the asset risk predictor identifies a high-risk asset event.
- Create new scheduled maintenance that combines the items above to automatically generate a work order whenever a high risk asset event is triggered. You must repeat this step for each asset you want to automatically generate work orders for.
