Before you begin
The system-default roles of Administrator, Manager, and Technician can’t be deleted, but the Manager and Technician roles can be renamed and have their permissions edited.
Audience: Administrators and users with the Manage roles permission enabled can delete roles.
Version: v6 (what does this mean?)
A role can be deleted if:
- It has no users assigned to it.
- It is not a system-default role like Administrator, Manager, or Technician.
To delete a role:
- Click the Actions menu (...) of the role you want to delete:
- Click Delete.
- Confirm by clicking Delete.
To delete multiple roles (bulk delete):
- Select the checkbox of the roles you want to delete.
- Click the Actions menu:
- Click Delete.
- Confirm by clicking Delete. To cancel deletion, click Cancel.
